Charitable objects

The PURPOSES for which the Association is established are as follows:1) To promote the well-being of older people in Aylsham and its surrounding areas, by supporting their physical and mental health, combating loneliness, and encouraging participation in activities that promote recreation, health, and social inclusion. This will include working in partnership with statutory authorities and other voluntary organizations to achieve these goals.2) To advance cooperation among community organizations and public bodies by bringing together representatives of groups with shared objectives, ensuring a collaborative approach to improving the lives of older people in Aylsham and its surroundings.3) To manage and maintain The Friendship Hall, making it available to local clubs and organizations that align with its charitable purposes under terms agreed by the Member Committee.4)To support inclusivity and safeguarding by upholding an active Equalities Policy and Vulnerable Adults Policy, ensuring that the Association’s services are accessible to all, regardless of age or background.
