TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICE OF CONSERVATION PARTICULARLY, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY THE INVITATION OF GUEST SPEAKER ON ENVIRONMENT RELATED TOPICS TO SOCIAL EVENINGS. 3. TO PROMOTE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SANDGATE COUNTRY PARK (RH20, WEST SUSSEX) BY ENGAGEMENT WITH LOCAL DISTRICT AND PARISH COUNCILS, LANDOWNERS AND THE NATIONAL TRUST, TO REPRESENT THE VIEWS OF THE MEMBERSHIP AND TO MONITOR PROGRESS ON THE COUNTRY PARK. 4. TO PROMOTE THE PROTECTION, MAINTENANCE AND ENHANCEMENT OF LOCAL GREEN SPACES FOR THE BENEFIT OF WILDLIFE AND THE PUBLIC, IN LINE WITH THE GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE AND DIVERSITY POLICIES IN THE HORSHAM DISTRICT PLANNING FRAMEWORK AND THE STORRINGTON, SULLINGTON AND WASHINGTON NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN (IN DEVELOPMENT), IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING COMMENTS ON DEVELOPMENT PROPOSALS.
