Charitable objects

The charity's objects are restricted to activities in relation to persons affected by spinal cord injury or related non-congenital diseases or injuries, the relief of those diseases or injuries, and the promotion of the welfare of persons with those diseases or injuries. The directors shall from time to time determine the objects of the charity, in particular through provision of targeted services that:1) further rehabilitate and encourage independence of such individuals;2) promote their reintegration within society; 3) promote education and awareness within society of issues relevant to spinal cord injury or related non-congenital diseases or injuries; and4) support family members and those affected by spinal cord injury regarding their emotional health and welfare needs which arise from the spinal cord disease or injury.
