3.1 To relieve persons who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress and who are resident in England and Wales, hereinafter referred to as the “area of benefit”, through the provision of legal and related advice, assistance and representation.3.2 To advance the education of the public by the improvement and diffusion of knowledge of the law and the practice of the law and the administration of justice, having regard especially to those areas of the law which are of particular concern to people experiencing financial hardship or other forms of distress in the area of benefit.3.3 The advancement of such other charitable purposes as are beneficial to the community for persons resident in the area of benefit.3.4 In meeting the objects set out at (3.1), (3.2) and (3.3) above always to satisfy the public benefit requirement under the Charities Act 2011.
