(2) THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A MUSEUM OF INDUSTRIAL ARCHAEOLOGY SPECIFIC TO WATER SUPPLIES MATTERS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN THE HISTORY OF SHERBORNE. (3) THE RESTORATION, PRESERVATION, MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF HISTORICALLY IMPORTANT STEAM ENGINES, PUMPS AND RELATED EQUIPMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN THE HISTORY OF ENGINEERING WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO ENGINES MANUFACTURED NEAR OR WITH HISTORIC CONNECTIONS TO SHERBORNE AND THE SURROUNDING DISTRICT.
