3 (I) TO RELIEVE POVERTY, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS OF VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS AND THEIR DEPENDANTS BY THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, SUPPORT AND SUCH OTHER SERVICES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION DEEM NECESSARY WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH PERSONS.3 (II) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PERSONS IN THE HISTORY OF WORLD WAR II AND THE SUBSEQUENT CONFLICTS BY THE PROVISION OF PRESENTATIONS, MEETINGS, VISITS TO HISTORICAL SITES AND THE ORGANISATION OF OTHER EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES.
