2.1 The Charity's objects throughout the County of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly are the promotion of the VCSE Sector for the benefit of the public including but not limited to:(a) liaising between VCSE Organisations, statutory agencies and other groups on relevant issues;(b) co-ordinating and facilitating partnership working and service delivery between VCSE Organisations, statutory agencies and other relevant groups (including as but not limited to the Charity acting as accountable body in connection with commissioning activity in the VCSE Sector);(c) providing training, conferences and seminars on subjects relevant to the efficiency of the VCSE sector;(d) identifying needs in the VCSE sector and establishing projects or policies to address them;(e) providing information to the press and the public on the operation of, or problems encountered by, the VCSE sector;(f) providing support services and guidance to and for the VCSE Sector;(g) providing advice and information on fundraising techniques appropriate for VCSE Organisations; and(h) acting as a representative of the VCSE Sector in relation to steering government policies and legislation.
