THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AMONGST PEOPLE LIVING WITH MS, THEIR CARERS, FAMILIES AND FRIENDS IN THE AFRICAN/CARIBBEAN AND MINORITY ETHNIC COMMUNITIES IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE FOLLOWING MEANS;(I) RAISING AWARENESS OF MS IN THE ABOVE COMMUNITIES THROUGH SEMINARS AND TRAINING WORKSHOPS;(II) PROVIDING EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AND ACCESS TO COUNSELLING;(III) ADDRESSING THE ISOLATION OF PEOPLE LIVING WITH MS;(IV) PROVIDING ADVICE AND INFORMATION TO PEOPLE LIVING WITH MS, THEIR CARERS, FAMILIES, FRIENDS AND RELEVANT ORGANISATIONS;(V) PROVIDING A HELPLINE FOR TELEPHONE ADVICE, FACE TO FACE AND WEBSITE ADVICE;(VI) WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LOCAL, REGIONAL AND NATIONAL VOLUNTARY AND STATUTORY ORGANISATION TOWARDS SUPPORTING ALL EFFORTS TO ADVANCE THE TREATMENT AND RESEARCH FOR THE INVESTIGATION AND CURE OF MS;(VII) PROVIDING SUPPORT TO PEOPLE WITH NEUROLOGICAL HEALTH CONDITIONS OUTSIDE OF MS.
