OBJECTS (I) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG JEWISH PEOPLE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT INCLUDING BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE FUNDING OF PROJECTS PROMOTING AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE PEOPLES AND CUSTOMS OF ISRAEL AND PROVISION OF GRANTS FOR STUDY IN ISRAEL.(II) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING, FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT, OF THOSE PERSONS WORKING OR WANTING TO WORK IN THE AREAS OF COMMUNITY RELATIONS, INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS, YOUTH WORK, COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AND INTERFAITH DIALOGUE INCLUDING BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS FOR RELEVANT COURSES.(III) TO PROMOTE AND ACTIVELY ENCOURAGE RELIGIOUS HARMONY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT.(IV) TO ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR SPORT, RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATIONS OF SUCH PERSONS WHO HAVE NEED FOR SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, POVERTY OR SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.(V) TO PROMOTE PUBLIC SAFETY AND THE PREVENTION OF STREET CRIME THROUGH FORMAL AND INFORMAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES.(VI) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF JEWISH UNDERGRADUATES WITHIN THE UNITED KINGDOM INCLUDING BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO ALLEVIATE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP DURING THEIR PERIOD OF STUDY.
