'The charity?s objects (?Objects?) are specifically restricted to the following:?To provide opportunities for the education of children, young people and adults vulnerable due to social or economic disadvantages predominantly within the area of South Wales. This may include but is not limited to: ?Informal education and lifelong learning delivered through youth and community work principles. ?Non-formal education?Formal education ?To further or benefit the residents of Cardiff and the neighbourhood, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents. ?To foster and promote the maintenance, improvement and development of artistic expression and the knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the arts in all its forms among the inhabitants of South Wales. ?To provide services that work to advance human rights, equality and diversity through, but not limited to: ?The facilitation of a meeting space and services that provide social support, advice and information to communities who may experience discrimination based on a protected characteristic. ?The awareness raising and education of the public, voluntary and governmental organisations and other institutions in the UK. ?To provide relief to those who experience need due to ill-health, disability or age and connected persons living in and visiting South Wales. This will be achieved through services such as but not limited to: ?Social support groups ?Information services ?Advocacy ?Provision of facilities to meet their needs. ?To advance the protection, preservation and enhancement of the environment for the public benefit of Cardiff. ?In furtherance of these objects but not otherwise, the trustees shall have power: ?To establish or secure the establishment of a community centre and to maintain or manage or co-operate with any statutory authority in the maintenance and management of such a centre for activities promoted by the charity in furtherance of the above objects.
