4.1 THE OBJECTS OF TWINS ARE AS FOLLOWS:(A) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES TO SCHOOLS AND PROVIDING NECESSARY ASSISTANCE IN RELATION TO SUCH FACILITIES;(B) PREVENTION AND ALLEVIATION OF POVERTY CAUSED BY POOR EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY, BY PROVIDING EQUIPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES NECESSARY FOR IMPROVING SOCIAL CONDITIONS; (C) RELIEF OF SUFFERING AS A RESULT OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND FACILITIES;(D) ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF SCHOOL PUPILS IN THE UK AND OVERSEAS, THROUGH THE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION BETWEEN PUPILS TO PROMOTE LEARNING OF CULTURE, ARTS, AND WAYS OF LIFE IN OTHER COUNTRIES; AND(E) PROMOTION OF INTER-CULTURAL AND INTER-RELIGIOUS HARMONY, THROUGH FOSTERING THE VALUES OF UNDERSTANDING, TOLERANCE AND CO-OPERATION BETWEEN CHILDREN OF DIFFERENT CULTURES AND RELIGIONS IN TWINNED SCHOOLS.
