3.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE:(A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) BY:(I) THE PROVISION OF SCHOLARSHIPS, BURSARIES AND GRANTS TO STUDENTS FROM THE DEVELOPING WORLD AT COLLEGES (WHICH MAY INCLUDE, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ST. CATHARINE'S COLLEGE AND TRINITY COLLEGE) AND DEPARTMENTS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE, AS WELL AS OTHER HIGHLY-RANKED UNIVERSITIES IN THE UK; AND(II) THE DEVELOPMENT OF COLLABORATIVE INITIATIVES BETWEEN SUCH UNIVERSITIES AND SIMILAR INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE COMMONWEALTH (IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, MALAYSIA) AND BEYOND, FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF KNOWLEDGE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PEOPLES OF THOSE NATIONS, WITH A PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON EDUCATION, HEALTH AND GENERAL WELFARE, PROMPTED BY SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT; AND(B) THE FURTHERANCE OF SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION DETERMINE.
