FIRST RESPONDERS MAY INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO) PARAMEDIC STAFF; FIRST RESPONDING MEDICAL STAFF; CALL CENTRE HANDLERS; MOUNTAIN RESCUE; RNLI LIFE BOAT RESCUERS; POLICE OFFICERS; FIRE FIGHTERS; AND THE BEREAVED FAMILIES OF FIRST RESPONDERS WHO HAVE DIED IN SERVICE; AND3.1.2 TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND HELP YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS.
