THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE DISENGAGED FROM LEARNING BY:-1. WORKING WITH CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE, ARTISTS, CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL ORGANISATIONS TO STRENGTHEN LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES;2. ADVANCING THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, CONFIDENCE AND CAPABILITIES OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE TO ALLOW THEM TO GROW INTO RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND TO DEVELOP THEIR MENTAL, PHYSICAL AND MORAL WELLBEING THROUGH THE USE OF ART AND EDUCATION IN THE ARTS; 3. INCREASING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN HASTINGS, ROTHER AND THE SURROUNDING AREA TO PARTICIPATE FULLY IN THE ARTS; AND 4. ENSURING A STRONG COMMITMENT TO EQUALITY, INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY IS EMBEDDED THROUGHOUT THE PRACTICES AND PROGRAMMES.
