THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1) TO PRESERVE AND PROMOTE THE HERITAGE AND CULTURAL TRADITIONS OF THE HISTORICAL PENRHYS PILGRIMAGE ROUTE FOR THE ENJOYMENT OF ALL WHO ARE ENCOURAGED TO USE IT. 2) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE CONSERVATION, PRESERVATION AND ENHANCEMENT OF THE NATURAL AND CULTURAL ENVIRONMENT. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS CLAUSE THE PENRHYS PILGRIMAGE ROUTE IS A HERITAGE WALKING TRAIL FROM LLANDAFF TO PENRHYS LINKING SITES OF HISTORIC INTEREST.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE CHARITIES ACT 2011
