(1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF HEALTH BY THE PREVENTION OF SUICIDE AND THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF MENTAL HEALTH; THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN RELATION TO SUICIDE AND MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES; AND THE RELIEF OF NEED, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS OF YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS AFFECTED BY SUICIDE OR MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME SEE FIT AND IN PARTICULAR, BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, BY:-(A) SUPPORTING SUICIDE PREVENTION AND MENTAL HEALTH CHARITIES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND;(B) RUNNING RESPITE SAILING ESCAPE DAYS FOR FAMILIES AND CARERS AFFECTED BY SUICIDE AND FOR CIVILIAN AND MILITARY MEDICAL PERSONNEL; AND (C) HIGHLIGHTING AND SIGNPOSTING SOURCES OF SUPPORT;(2) TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND HELP YOUNG PEOPLE AND IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THOSE AFFECTED BY SUICIDE AND MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE IN RELATION TO THEIR DEVELOPING A CAREER IN THE MARINE SECTOR AS A MEANS OF:-(A) ADVANCING IN LIFE AND HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE BY DEVELOPING THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES SO THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY; (B) ADVANCING EDUCATION AND TRAINING; AND(C) RELIEVING UNEMPLOYMENT. IN THIS CLAUSE 3:'YOUNG PEOPLE' MEANS PERSONS UP TO THE AGE OF 30 YEARS; AND'MEDICAL PERSONNEL' MEANS PHYSICIANS, PHYSICIANS' ASSISTANTS, NURSE PRACTITIONERS AND OTHER HEALTH CARE PERSONNEL.
