THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY (‘THE OBJECTS’) ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN NEPAL, THE RELIEF TO THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, EMERGENCY OR DISASTER BY:-1. ADVANCING EDUCATION BY MEANS OF CONSTRUCTION, TRAINING OR RESOURCING PROJECTS;2. IMPROVING HEALTHCARE AND HEALTH AWARENESS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF MATERIALS, MEDICINES AND SKILLS AND BY THE DELIVERY OF HEALTH EDUCATION PROGRAMMES;3. ADVANCING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT THROUGH COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND SOCIAL WELFARE PROGRAMMES INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AND OTHER PUBLIC AMENITIES SUCH AS BRIDGES OR WATER PROJECTS;4. PROMOTING EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY THROUGH SOCIAL WELFARE AND EDUCATION PROGRAMMES; AND5. THE CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT.AND TO FURTHER THE OBJECTS BY MAKING GRANTS TO EXISTING ORGANISATIONS OR BY SETTING UP NEW PROJECTS ORGANISED AND RUN BY THE BRITAIN-NEPAL CHARITABLE TRUST ITSELF.[NOTHING IN THIS DEED SHALL AUTHORIZE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND/OR SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.]
