3.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO:3.1.1 PROMOTE AND SUPPORT THE REHABILITATION OF OFFENDERS AND THOSE AT RISK OF OFFENDING OR RE-OFFENDING AND TO ASSIST THEM IN FINDING EMPLOYMENT, PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN THE THEATRE INDUSTRY; 3.1.2 ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF OFFENDERS AND THOSE AT RISK OF OFFENDING OR RE-OFFENDING AND ANY OTHER PERSONS WHO ARE IN NEED BY REASON OF UNEMPLOYMENT, POVERTY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER ECONOMIC OR SOCIAL DISADVANTAGE, PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING OR SUPPORTING THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN (A) SKILLS FOR ROLES IN THE CREATIVE INDUSTRIES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE THEATRE INDUSTRY); (B) OTHER ANCILLARY SKILLS AND (C) OTHER SKILLS LIKELY TO IMPROVE EMPLOYABILITY GENERALLY; AND 3.1.3 PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION BY PREVENTING PEOPLE FROM BECOMING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED, RELIEVING THE NEEDS OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED AND ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE OR RE-INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY. 3.2 FOR THE PURPOSE OF CLAUSE 3.1.3, SOCIALLY EXCLUDED MEANS BEING EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PART OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF BEING A MEMBER OF A SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DEPRIVED COMMUNITY.
