Charitable objects

(1) THE TRAINING, SUPPORT, MAINTENANCE AND SUPPLY OF PERSONS TO ACT AS NURSES FOR THE SICK AND AS MIDWIVES AND HEALTH VISITORS AND THE UNDERTAKING OF PREVENTIVE AND SUPERVISORY WORK FOR SECURING HEALTH. (2) THE ESTABLISHMENT OF HOMES (INCLUDING TRAINING HOMES) FOR SUCH NURSES, MIDWIVES AND HEALTH VISITORS AND OF MATERNITY HOSPITALS FOR THE INSTRUCTION OF SUCH NURSES, MIDWIVES AND HEALTH VISITORS AND OF MATERNITY HOSPITALS FOR THE INSTRUCTION OF SUCH NURSES MIDWIVES AND HEALTH VISITORS IN MIDWIFERY AND CLINICS FOR THEIR INSTRUCTION ON CHILD WELFARE. (3) THE CO-ORDINATION AND SUPERVISION OF CENTRES FOR ANY OF THE AFORESAID PURPOSES AND GENERALLY THE PROMOTION AND PROVISION OF IMPROVED MEANS FOR NURSING THE SICK AND SECURING HEALTH. (4) TO CO-OPERATE WITH OTHER CORPORATIONS, BODIES AND PERSONS IN CARRYING OUT THE ABOVE OBJECTS WITH POWER TO MAKE GRANTS FROM GENERAL AND CHARITABLE FUNDS OR OTHERWISE ASSIST SUCH BODIES OR PERSONS IN THE FURTHERANCE OF SUCH OBJECTS.
