(1) THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY IS TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING RELIGIOUS EDUCATION) OF PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT AND IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER OF PRIORITY:(A) PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS AND WHO HAVE AT ANY TIME ATTENDED A SCHOOL IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT; (B) PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS;(C) ANY OTHER PERSONS.(2) THE TRUSTEES MAY, AT THEIR DISCRETION, GRANT ASSISTANCE IN EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES TO PERSONS WHO ARE RESIDENT IMMEDIATELY OUTSIDE THE AREA OF BENEFIT THAT IN THE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES OUGHT NEVERTHELESS TO BE TREATED AS ELIGIBLE FOR ASSISTANCE.
