TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF PERSONS UNDER 25 WHO, IN THE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND WHO HAVE FOR NOT LESS THAN TWO YEARS AT ANY TIME ATTENDED A SCHOOL IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. TO AWARD EXHIBITIONS, BURSARIES OR MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES OR OTHER BENEFITS (FOR FURTHER DETAILS SEE CLAUSE 22 OF THE SCHEME). AREA OF BENEFIT SHALL MEAN THE AREA COMPRISING THE PARISHES OF BEVERCOTES, BOTHAMSALL, ELKESLEY, GAMSTON, HAUGHTON, WEST DRAYTON AND WEST MARKHAM ALL IN THE COUNTY OF NOTTINGHAMSHIRE.
