THE TRUST FUND AND THE INCOME THEREOF SHALL BE HELD ON EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE TRUSTS AND SHALL BE APPLICABLE (SUBJECT TO AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS HEREINAFTER CONTAINED) TO UNITE AND ASSOCIATE PAST AND PRESENT PUPILS AND FRIENDS OF JESUIT SCHOOLS IN THE CARRYING ON PROMOTION ADVANCEMENT OR SUPPORT OF ALL OR ANY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CHARITABLE PURPOSES (WHETHER IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OR ELSEWHERE) THAT IS TO SAY THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC RELIGION AND IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION TO PROMOTE SUCH OF THE WORK OF THE SOCIETY OF JESUS AS IS CHARITABLE IN LAW THE RELIEF OF POVERTY RELIEF AND PREVENTION OF SICKNESS DISEASE AND THE RELIEF OF PHYSICAL OR MENTAL DISABILITY AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION THINK FIT.
