THE COMMEMORATION AND REMEMBRANCE OF MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE CROWN WHO DIED WHILE ON ACTIVE SERVICE AND THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF PUBLIC RECOGNITION OF THE SACRIFICE MADE BY SUCH PERSONS; 3. THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY OF WORLD WAR II IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE STORIES AND MEMORIES OF THOSE PERSONS WHO WERE SERVING IN THE ARMED FORCES OF THE CROWN DURING WORLD WAR II."
