Southwell and District Agricultural Society

1. To promote agriculture for the public benefit and to such end generally to improve it in all its branches and to encourage skill and industry in it and in all trades, crafts and professions connected with it while increasing public education, awareness, and understanding of the agricultural sector and its importance, in particular, but without limitation, by holding the annual Southwell Ploughing Match & Agricultural Show.2. To advance such charitable purposes according to the law of England and Wales as the Trustees may from time to time determine, in particular but not limited to, supporting charitable organisations that promote the welfare, education, health, or financial security of individuals associated with agriculture and the rural community
