Yes. Searching and viewing public records is free. A free account lets you claim your record, see your network, confirm relationships and take part in an organisation's network.

If you have held a public governance role, such as a charity trustee or company director, the official register publishes it. Governance Register brings those public records together. How we handle data.

Use Find yourself, choose your record and create a free account. Claiming links your account to your public record. It does not let you edit official filing history.

You can still create a Governance Register profile. If an official record matching you is found later, it can be linked after verification. Create a profile.

Two people were recorded on the same governing body during overlapping dates. It does not mean they know each other.

There is no password. Enter your email address and we send you a 6-digit code. Codes expire after a short time and can only be used once.

Use Report an issue on the page. Official records are corrected at the source register; we review every report.

A verified organisation can invite its current leaders to review participation in its Our Network workspace. Taking part is optional, and you choose what the organisation can see. You can still use Governance Register if you decline.

Only that routes exist through participating leaders, that you participate, and, if you allow it, that you can be asked for help. Never your private relationships, introduction permissions, contact details or notes.
