THE TRUSTEES SHALL HOLD THE TRUST FUND AND ITS INCOME UPON TRUST TO FURTHER THE CHARITABLE AIMS OF THE WORSHIPFUL LIVERY COMPANY OF WALES, BY THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT. AT THEIR DISCRETION THE TRUSTEES MAY SPEND ALL OR PART OF THE CAPITAL OF THE CHARITY IN FURTHERING THE OBJECTS. IN MAKING AWARDS THE TRUSTEES SHALL SATISFY THEMSELVES THAT RECIPIENTS HAVE A COMMITMENT TO WALES. THIS MAY BE BY BIRTH, UPBRINGING, EDUCATION, RESIDENCE OR PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT OR BY A COMBINATION OF THESE QUALIFICATIONS.
