SUBJECT AS HEREIN OTHERWISE PROVIDED, THE MANAGING TRUSTEES SHALL APPROPRIATE AND USE THE:(I) LANDS WITH THE BUILDINGS SPECIFIED IN PARAGRAPH ONE OF THE SCHEDULE TO THE SCHEME FOR THE PURPOSE OF FURTHERING THE RELIGIOUS, EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER CHARITABLE WORK OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT; AND(II) THE LANDS AND BUILDINGS SPECIFIED IN PARAGRAPH TWO OF SCHEDULE TO THE SCHEME FOR:(A) THE PURPOSE OF FURTHERING THE RELIGIOUS, EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER CHARITABLE WORK OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT; AND(B) TO THE EXTENT THAT THEY CANNOT BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE IN (A) THEN FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID RESIDENTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION INCLUDING ARTISTIC, CRAFT AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS.
