The Objects of the Charity are, for the public benefit, to promote the protection of women and children who have suffered from or are exposed to domestic violence, by such means as are charitable including (without limitation):(a) the preservation and protection of their mental and physical health;(b) the relief of need;(c) the promotion of research and education concerning violence against women and children and the publication of the useful results of such research; and(d) increasing the public understanding and awareness of violence against women and children and changing public perceptions of such violence in situations where it is still tolerated.
