TRUSTEE SHALL APPLY THE INCOME AND MAY AT THEIR DISCRETION APPLY THE WHOLE OR PART OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY IN ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS:- (A) IN PROVIDING FOR ANY SCHOOL IN, OR SUBTANTIALLY SERVING, THE AREA OF BENEFIT BOOKS OR EQUIPMENT NOT OTHERWISE NORMALLY PROVIDED AS MAY BE AGREED BETWEEN THE TRUSTEES AND THE GOVERNORS OR MANAGERS OF THE SCHOOL CONCERNED; (B) IN PROMOTING EITHER BY MEANS OF SUNDAY SCHOOLS OR IN SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT THE RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION OF PERSONS WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT; (C) IN THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ANY VOLUNTARY ORGANISATION HAVING CHARITABLE OBJECTS DIRECTED TO EDUCATING OR IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT BY DEVELOPING THEIR PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND MORAL CAPACITIES THROUGH THEIR LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES; (D) IN PROMOTING THE EDUCATION OF PERSONS WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT AND WHO ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN EITHER OR BOTH OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS:- (1) IN AWARDNG TO SUCH PERSONS EXHIBITIONS, SCHOLARSHIPS, BURSARIES, GRANTS OR MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES TENABLE AT ANY SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY, COLLEGE OF EDUCATION OR OTHER INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION APPROVED FOR THE PURPOSE BY THE TRUSTEES; (11) IN PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, OUTFITS, CLOTHING, TOOLS, INSTRUMENTS OR BOOKS TO ASSIST SUCH PERSONS TO PURSUE THEIR EDUCATION (INCLUDING THE STUDY OF MUSIC AND OTHER ARTS) AND TO PREPARE FOR OR ENTER A PROFESSION, TRADE, OCCUPATION OR SERVICE ON LEAVING SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY OR OTHER EDUCATION ESTABLISHMENT.
