TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN BRITISH CULTURE IN THE SOUTHERN MEMBERS STATES OF THE EU, IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:(A) ORGANISING SUMMER LANGUAGE COURSES FOR FOREIGN SCHOOLCHILDREN, IN ORDER TO SUPPORT THE OFFICIAL TUITION OF ENGLISH GIVEN IN THEIR COUNTRIES (AS REQUIRED BY THEIR NATIONAL SYLLABUS) WITH NON-ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES SUCH AS DRAMA, MUSIC OR PAINTING, THUS ENABLING FOREIGN CHILDREN TO USE ENGLISH IN NON-ACADEMIC SITUATIONS. (B) SETTING UP MULTINATIONAL SUMMER CAMPS TO BRING ABOUT A CULTURAL AND CREATIVE INTERACTION BETWEEN BRITISH AND EUROPEAN YOUTH IN AREAS OF NATURAL BEAUTY AN ECOLOGICAL INTEREST. (C) THE CHARITY ALSO AIMS TO DEVELOP THESE PROGRAMMES FOR THEIR FUTURE USE BY A MULTINATIONAL COMMUNITY OF DISABLED PERSONS, NAMELY DEAF PEOPLE.
