The Objects of the Charity are, for the public benefit, to:3.1 promote the art and appreciation of music, particularly piano playing, performance and repertoire, through activities including but not limited to competitions, concerts, and public events;3.2 to support the development of exceptionally talented young musicians, including through prizes, performance opportunities, mentoring, training, and professional development; and3.3 to advance education, cultural engagement and participation in music, especially piano music, among diverse audiences in the City of Leeds, Yorkshire, and elsewhere.
