FOR THE BENEFIT OF PEOPLE SERVED BY THE PARKFIELD MEDICAL CENTRE, POTTERS BAR, IN THE COUNTY OF HERTFORDSHIRE(1) THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS BY THE PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT, THE MAINTENANCE OF SUCH EQUIPMENT AND GRANTS FOR THE MATERIAL IMPROVEMENT OF THE CENTRE, AS THE COMMITTEE AT THEIR DISCRETION SHALL DECIDE, WHICH IT IS NOT THE LOCAL AUTHORITY'S STATUTORY OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE. PROVIDED THAT SUCH EQUIPMENT REMAINS THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY AND IS ON LOAN TO THE CENTRE AND THAT THE CAPITAL VALUE OF THE IMPROVEMENT GRANTS IS RETURNED TO THE CHARITY IN THE EVENT THAT THE CENTRE IS SOLD. (2) THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF PUBLIC HEALTH BY THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION ABOUT HEALTH CARE AND OTHER MATTERS REGARDING THE PREVENTION OF SICKNESS.
