THE OBJECTS OF THE FRIENDS OF SILSOE CHURCH ("THE OBJECTS") ARE FOR THE RESTORATION, PRESERVATION, REPAIR, MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE ST JAMES THE GREAT CHURCH OF ENGLAND CHURCH, IN THE PARISH OF SILSOE IN THE DIOCESE OF ST ALBANS INCLUDING THE ST JAMES THE GREAT CHURCH OF ENGLAND BUILDING, ITS CONTENTS AND GROUNDS AND ANY EXTENSION THERETO ("THE CHURCH") , THEREBY HELPING TO ENSURE THE CONTINUED USE OF THE CHURCH AS A PLACE OF WORSHIP.
