FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT AND PARTICULAR FOR THOSE MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WHO ARE TAMILS OR OF TAMIL ORIGIN BY: A) ADVANCING EDUCATION IN THE TAMIL LANGUAGE, LITERATURE, MUSIC, CULTURE, HISTORY, TRADITIONS AND OTHER SUBJECTS; B) RELIEVING POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF ADVICE, INFORMATION AND OTHER ASSISTANCE; C) PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION, RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE SO AS TO ASSIST THEM IN GROWING TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY; AND D) PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF THE SAID INHABITANTS IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE SO THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED.
