(1) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF STUDENTS ATTENDING ST PATRICK'S COLLEGE (SPC) JAFFNA, SRI LANKA BY ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT, PREMISES AND OTHER ITEMS AT THE COLLEGE WHICH WOULD NOT OTHERWISE BE PROVIDED OUT OF STATUTORY FUNDS. (2) TO RELIEVE ORPHANED, PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED AND OTHER STUDENTS IN NEED AT THE COLLEGE BY THE PROVISION OF MATERIAL AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. (3) TO ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES AT THE COLLEGE FOR THE EDUCATION, RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE PENINSULAR IN WHICH THE COLLEGE IS LOCATED IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND SO THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED.
