THE OBJECTS FOR THE CENTRE SHALL BE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF SOUTHALL (THE "AREA OF BENEFIT") AND THE SURROUNDING AREA AND IN PARTICULAR FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS WHO ARE AFGHANS OR SIKHS:-(A) TO PROVIDE AND ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION ANDOTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITHTHE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS.(B) TO ADVANCE THE SIKH RELIGION;(C) TO ADVANCED EDUCATION IN SUBJECTS WHICH MAY INCLUDE THE SIKH RELIGIONTHE HERITAGE OF SIKHISM, THE LANGUAGE, HISTORY, TRADITIONS AND CULTURE OF THE PUNJAB; AND (D) TO RELIEVE THOSE WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF FINANCIALHARDSHIP OR WHO ARE OTHERWISE IN CHARITABLE NEED THROUGH THE PROVISIONOF ADVICE, INFORMATION AND OTHER ASSISTANCE.
