TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF CHILDREN AND ADULTS IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WITH A VIEW TO REDUCING INJURIES AND LOSS OF LIFE THROUGH BURNS. THE AREA OF BENEFIT IS AFRICA, PRIMARILY (BUT AT THE DISCRETION OF THE TRUSTEES NOT EXCLUSIVELY) SOUTHERN AFRICA AS DEFINED BY COUNTRIES WITHIN OR WHICH IN FUTURE JOIN THE STATES COMPRISING THE SOUTHERN AFRICA DEVELOPMENT COMMUNITY.
