3.1 The charity’s objects (the objects) are(a) The relief of people in need in particular but not exclusively people who are African, Asian, African Caribbean, Chinese and from other ethnic minority groups within the area of Bath and North East Somerset (hereinafter called the Area of Benefit), by advancing education and providing facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objects of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants; and(b) The advancement of education, protection of health and the relief of poverty sickness and distress of people within the Area of Benefit.
