Charitable objects
To promote the relief of adults with learning disabilities, in particular (but not exclusively) by the provision of services, activities and support that enable individuals to lead fulfilling, independent, and inclusive lives.To advance the health, education, training, wellbeing and lifelong learning opportunities of adults with learning disabilities, with the aim of increasing confidence, autonomy, equality, diversity and participation in society.To provide or assist in the provision of recreational facilities in the interests of social welfare, designed to improve the quality of life of adults with learning disabilities.To work in partnership with families, carers, local organisations, and statutory bodies to ensure that people with learning disabilities have access to the support and services they need.In furtherance of the above objects, to draw on and support the aims and values of the Royal Mencap Society, where appropriate, and to work in collaboration with national and local organisations that share our commitment to the rights and well-being of people with learning disabilities.
