(A) TO RELIEVE THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DISTRESS AND SUFFERING OF WOMEN OF ALL CULTURES WHO HAVE BEEN MALTREATED BY THEIR HUSBANDS, FAMILIES, COHABITEES, PARTNERS OR BY THE FATHERS OF THEIR CHILDREN AND ANY CHILDREN OF SUCH WOMEN.(B) TO RELIEVE THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DISTRESS OF ANY CHILDREN AFFECTED BY DISRUPTION IN THEIR HOMES BECAUSE OF VIOLENCE AND TO GIVE HELP AND ADVICE TO ANY SUCH CHILDREN.(C) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF VOLUNTARY AND STATUTORY AGENCIES AND THE PUBLIC IN ALL ASPECTS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, ITS CAUSES AND PREVENTION.
