THE FUND SHALL BE APPLIED EXCLUSIVELY TO CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN AFFORDING RELIEF OR ASSISTANCE IN DISTRESS: (A) TO FORMER MEMBERS OF THE BIRMINGHAM STOCK EXCHANGE AND TO EMPLOYEES OR FORMER EMPLOYEES OF MIDLANDS BASED SECURITIES FIRMS; (B) TO EX-CLERKS OF MEMBERS OR FORMER MEMBERS; (C) TO EX-OFFICIALS AND EX-CLERKS OF THE BIRMINGHAM STOCK EXCHANGE; AND TO THEIR WIDOWS AND CHILDREN IN EACH CASE. 2. THE FUND SHALL BE USED TO RELIEVE CASES OF NECESSITY AND FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES.
