Charitable objects

4.1.1 To promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of the inhabitants of the City of Kingston upon Hull, in particular but not exclusively the inhabitants of Southcoates and/or Marfleet and/or within 5 miles of either of those two locations (provided always that any such location remains within the Hull City boundary) by all or any of the following means:(a) the relief of poverty in such ways as may be thought fit;(b) the relief of unemployment by providing help and advice information, and other forms of care and training;(c) the advancement of education, training or retraining, particularly among unemployed people and providing work experience for the unemployed;(d) the provision of financial assistance, technical assistance, business advice or consultancy in order to provide training and employment opportunities for unemployed people in cases of financial or other charitable need through help in setting up their own business or to existing businesses;(e) the creation of training and employment opportunities by the provision of managed workspace units or other business units, buildings and/or land for use on favourable terms;(f) the provision of advisory and counselling services;(g) the provision of facilities for recreational and leisure time occupation and the organisation of leisure activities;(h) the protection or conservation of the environment;(i) the holding of exhibitions, meetings, lectures, classes, seminars and courses, either alone or with others;(j) the promotion of public safety and prevention of crime; and(k) the promotion of health and health lifestyles and the provision of advice on the same;(l) such other means as may from time to time be determined subject to the prior consent of the Charity Commission.
