TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION BY THE RESTORATION, PRESERVATION, REPAIR, MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENT AND BEAUTIFICATION OF THE PARISH CHURCH OF ST MARY'S, EAST BRABOURNE IN THE DIOCESE OF CANTERBURY (HEREINAFTER CALLED "THE CHURCH") AND OF THE MONUMENTS, FITTINGS, FIXTURES, STAINED GLASS, FURNITURE, ORNAMENTS AND CHATTELS IN THE CHURCH AND THE CHURCHYARD BELONGING TO THE CHURCH.SECONDARILY, TO PROVIDE OCCASIONAL FINANCIAL HELP AT THE REQUEST OF THE PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL, AND AT THE DISCRETION OF THE FRIENDS COMMITTEE, TO MEET COSTS WHICH MAY ARISE FROM TIME TO TIME IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN FACILITIES FOR WORSHIP IN THE PARISH.
