THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION BY:1) PROMOTING THE RELIGIOUS LIFE OF THE PRIORY CHURCH BY THE SHARING OF INTERESTS INFORMATION PRACTICAL PRAYERFUL FINANCIAL AND OTHER CHARITABLE FORMS OF SUPPORT; AND2) CONSERVING IMPROVING RESTORING ENHANCING AND REPLACING THE FABRIC FIXTURES FITTINGS AND FURNISHINGS OF THE PRIORY CHURCH (INCLUDING WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING THE CHURCHYARD AND HEREDITAMENTS WITHIN THE CURTILAGE OF THE CHURCHYARD) AS A PLACE OF LIVING CHRISTIAN WORSHIP WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF CARTMEL PROVIDED THAT SHOULD THE PRIORY CHURCH CEASE TO BE A PLACE OF LIVING CHRISTIAN WORSHIP THEN THE SECONDARY OBJECT SHALL BE FURTHERANCE AND ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH WITHIN THE LOCALITY OF CARTMEL AND IT IS DESIRED THAT SO FAR AS POSSIBLE THE FRIENDS OF CARTMEL PRIORY TRUST FUND SHALL THEN BE USED FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF A BUILDING IN WHICH THAT FURTHERANCE AND ADVANCEMENT CAN BE CONTINUED.
