TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF SANDWELL COMMUNITY, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY PERSONS OF IRISH DECENT, BY ASSOCIATING WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND THE INHABITANTS TO:1) PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE COMMUNITY; AND 2) PRESERVE AND PROTECT GOOD HEALTH WITHIN THE COMMUNITY BY THE PROVISION AND DISSEMINATION OF HEALTH CARE ADVICE AND INFORMATION.
