(2) TO PROMOTE, ENCOURAGE AND IMPROVE THE STUDY AND PRACTICE OF THE ART AND SCIENCE OF DIAGNOSING TREATING AND PREVENTING SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED INFECTIONS INCLUDING HIV INFECTION, THE ENDEMIC TREPONEMATOSES AND OTHER SEXUAL HEALTH PROBLEMS.
