TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY MEANS OF PROVIDING ACCESS TO FACILITIES AND INFORMATION WITH A VIEW TO INTEGRATING PERSONS WHO ARE DEAF OR WHO HAVE HEARING LOSS INTO THE COMMUNITY SO AS TO ALLEVIATE DIRECTLY THE STRESSES AFFECTING SUCH PERSONS, THEIR FAMILIES, THEIR FRIENDS AND THEIR CARERS;4. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY MEANS OF CARRYING OUT RESEARCH INTO THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH PERSONS AND TO DISSEMINATE THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC
