(A) TO ADVANCE RELIGION ACCORDING TO THE TENETS OF SANATAN DHARAM FAITH. IN FURTHERANCE OF THIS OBJECT BUT NOT OTHERWISE THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MAY EXERCISE THE FOLLOWING POWERS:-(I) TO ENCOURAGE, PROMOTE AND ORGANISE PUBLIC LECTURES, EDUCATIONAL CLASSES AND OTHER COURSES OF EDUCATION FOR THE PROPAGATION OF SANATAN VEDIC VALUES, TRADITIONS AND RITUALS;(II) ACQUIRE AND HOLD PROPERTY FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE CHARITY;(III) TO RAISE AND BORROW MONEY FOR ALL OR ANY OF THE ABOVE OBJECTIVES IN SUCH MANNER ON SUCH SECURITY AS MAY BE DETERMINED FROM TIME TO TIME;(IV) TO INVEST AND DEAL WITH MONIES OF THE CHARITY NOT IMMEDIATELY REQUIRED, IN SUCH MANNER AS FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINED BY THE CHARITY;(V) TO DO ANY SUCH LAWFUL ACTIVITY AS SHALL FURTHER THE OBJECTIVES OF THE CHARITY;(VI) TO ESTABLISH A PLACE OF PRAYER, MEDITATION AND RITUALS FOR THE FOLLOWERS OF THE RELIGION OF SANATAN DHARAM GENERALLY WITHIN THE REGION AND THE UNITED KINGDOM;(B) THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY:-(I) ADVANCING EDUCATION AND RAISING AWARENESS IN EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY; AND(II) PROMOTING ACTIVITIES TO FOSTER UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN PEOPLE FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS.
