3.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE: 3.1.1 TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THE INHABITANTS OF NORTH TYNESIDE (HEREAFTER CALLED THE AREA OF BENEFIT), WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID INHABITANTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS; 3.1.2 TO ESTABLISH OR SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTRE AND MAINTAIN AND MANAGE THE SAME WHETHER ALONE OR IN PARTNERSHIP OR IN CO-OPERATION WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES OR OTHER PERSONS IN THE FURTHERANCE OF THE STATED OBJECTS.
