Charitable objects

1) For the benefit of the public to encourage, undertake, sponsor, distribute and contribute towards research, work and publication in the UK that relates to a particular (local, national, transnational) social, political, economic, educational or cultural problem/phenomenon and the findings of which will be of direct relevance and value to academia, society, charitable organisations, service-providing institutions, governmental and non-governmental bodies and others. 2) To advance the education and knowledge of academics, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds and want to pursue a career in academia in the UK with a view to providing them with help and support for their academic studies, developing their research capacity further via providing relevant trainings, helping them forge academic networks and project partnerships, encouraging them to support ongoing projects of the institution and contribute towards raising interest in social studies (social sciences, arts and humanities).
